The news this morning was awash with a story taken from the new biography The Obamas by Jodi Kantor, in which the author reveals that there was a secret all-star “Halloween Party” at the White House in 2009 which took on an “Alice in Wonderland” theme. The guest list was limited mainly to military and White House staff families, as well as celebrities. The decor of the was fashioned by Tim Burton, whose film of the same name would be released four months later on March 5th. Johnny Depp himself was there in costume as the Mad Hatter, greeting the guests. Bone-shaped meringue cookies were served, along with fruit punch served in blood vials. Allegedly, the event was kept secret (clearly with the complicity of the media) because the Administration was afraid that it would seem “extravagant” during a recession.

In fact, it was at the end of October in 2009 that the Administration announced that the United States was officially “out of recession,” while acknowledging that employment numbers and housing sales would continue to slump for the foreseeable future. Thus the wizards behind the stagecraft of statecraft, with their helpers in the mainstream media, spun a magical new reality, a make-believe alternate universe, around the concept of the “jobless recovery.”

In addition, the MSM was at this time working heavily with the Republican Party establishment to promote a faux “Tea Party” movement to overtake the grass-roots movement that had already been underway for two years. Whereas the Tea Parties of 2007 to early 2009 had originated within the Ron Paul movement, a spontaneous response to bailouts and money-printing, this new movement was pro-war, anti-Muslim, and unconcerned with monetary policy. It rejected Ron Paul and endorsed mainstream Republican candidates. In other words, it was a fake Tea Party, a manufactured make-believe Tea Party from another universe, where everything is topsy-turvy and people have protest movements to embrace the status quo.

Provocateurs abound

The date of the party on Halloween is important because it is traditionally the day on which the veil between this world and the Otherworld is rent open, like a portal to Wonderland. For this reason it is sacred to witches, and a night of bloody sacrifice. Interestingly, just about 5 weeks after the super secret Black Mass at the White House, the SyFy channel showed a mini-series on December 7th and 8th called Alice. I wrote about it last year in Part II of my essay series “Regnum in Potentia”:

In this film, Wonderland is a parallel universe that Alice is lured to when her fiancé is kidnapped. There, the Queen of Hearts feeds off of the souls of humans, captured from our own world. They are lured into Wonderland, just like Alice …

Once there, they are imprisoned in a 24-hour make-believe casino. Here they are kept in a trance state, perpetually winning every rigged game the casino has to offer. The good feelings generated by the sensation of winning are channeled from the bodies of the prisoners through a special vent in the floor, then magically turned into potions that the queen and her court feed off of like drugs. The people of Wonderland refer to their captive humans as “oysters” because of the “precious pearls within” — their souls.

The description of the Wonderland casino prison on this SyFy channel program from 2009 resembles remarkably a metaphor used by economist Max Keiser, starting around the same time, of the “casino gulag” to describe the global economy. In his view, everyone in the peasant class here on Earth is forced to speculate with their earnings on the stock and bond market in order to avoid losing wealth every time the government inflates the fiat currency by alchemically printing more money. Since, like a casino, the game is rigged by the banking cartel, who can front-run the market with high-frequency trading and are insured against losses with government bailouts, they keep the gambler slaves playing by hypnotizing them with the prospect of being the one-in-a-million lucky slave who gets to win the jackpot.

Another Wonderland-related meme that has going around from the time of the White House party to present is the comparison of pop music star Lady Gaga to the Mad Hatter. She has been termed that by several newspapers because of her outlandish headgear, and was even the star of a viral spoof video called “Gaga in Wonderland” that came out in March 2010 right before Tim Burton’s movie trailer. The spoof used footage from the movie trailer along with scenes from Gaga’s “Paparazzi” video, which includes images of her falling into a spiral shape that served as a “rabbit hole” dimensional doorway. Also utilized were images of Gaga wearing “red queen” dresses, which she has done with at least two different dresses on two different occasions.

In “Regnum in Potentia Part II” I wrote about the significance of the Mad Hatter’s character and his peculiar tea party:

The Mad Hatter character is an alchemist. Hat-makers, like alchemists, were at one time at high risk of developing permanent brain damage as a result of breathing the vapors of the liquid mercury they used in their trade. Significantly, the Hatter’s tea party is being held in celebration of the “unbirthday” of the attendees. The negation of birth is apparently held holy in the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland.

Here we see the mystical concept of preventing the birth of the king’s heir by swallowing the newborn as it emerges from the womb, just as King Saturn did to his children. Thus, while they remained in his belly, they had still technically never been born, but were “unborn.” This is what is meant by the rabbit who is perpetually “late,” a euphemism for being dead. The fact that the rabbit’s watch is said to be “two days slow” indicates that he and the other subjects of the kingdom may never have been born to begin with.

The Hatter

Mad Hatter’s Day is officially celebrated by Lewis Carroll fans every year on October 6th. This is because of the number “10/6” that is always written on his hat. Interestingly, on Mad Hatter’s Day this last year, Queen announced that they may be hiring Lady Gaga to tour with them as part of the band. This is especially interesting since Gaga admittedly named herself after their song “Radio Ga Ga,” (an ode to the crappiness of Top 40 radio, originally titled “Radio Ca Ca).

Gaga is suspected by many of being at the heart of an Illuminist/Satanist conspiracy within the music industry. This circle is alleged to include Jay-Z, Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Kanye West, Beyonce, Wiz Khalifa, and many others. The details of this are beyond the scope of this essay, but the main point is that subtle but clearly-intentional ritual elements have been inserted into songs, music videos, and performances that seem to be coordinated and involve multiple artists across several different genres.

One identified ritual took place at the MTV’s Video Music Awards in September 2009. Elements included the presentation of the artist Pink as initiate into the Entered Apprentice Degree (1º) of Masonry (hoodwinked, with the left breast bare, exposing the symbol of the naked heart). Lady Gaga was shown having her eye gouged out and was then killed in a bloody sacrifice, only to re-emerge later dressed as the red queen. But the evening began with an obviously contrived conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, who was allegedly upstaged when West interrupted her award presentation to proclaim that the prize should have gone to Beyonce instead. Swift had arrived in a Cinderella-style carriage and numerous references were made to fairy tales and “dreams come true” throughout the evening. In 2008, Swift had a song on the soundtrack for the film Another Cinderella Story. Then in January 2010, Swift released a song titled “Today Was a Fairy Tale,” followed by an album that was originally titled “Enchanted,” and which included the song “Never Grow Up.”

Lest you think such issues were not a “state matter,” to the contrary, President Obama had a comment to make about the Kanye West incident within a few hours of it airing. Obama has been amazingly well-involved in Hollywood and pop music culture during his presidency, being close personal friends with Jay-Z and several other members of the alleged “Satanic conspiracy.” Also, Lady Gaga has been amazingly involved with Presidential politics for a pop culture diva. She has met both Obama and Clinton, and both have made public statements about her.

So considering the facts and ideas laid out above, is it inconceivable to think that the “secret” Alice in Wonderland tea party at the White House on Halloween was all part of a larger, carefully-crafted series of rituals taking place with the complicity of Hollywood, the music industry, and the news media? A ritual to cast a fake spell of unreality over us all as we descend into debt peonage, imprisoned by oligarchs in a closed alternate universe of fake derivatives, fake economic numbers, and fake fiat currency. A ritual to curse the real Tea Party movement and cover it up with a fake one instead? Perhaps that is a stretch, but I still tend to think that these things all happen for a reason, and that the coincidence of memes is trying to tell us something.

What time is it? Time to buy a new clock!

In both The Sacred and the Profane, as well as his book Cosmos and History: The Myth of the Eternal Return, Mircea Eliade argues that the holy places of cultures throughout the world were built to embody or mimic the archetype of the “primordial mountain” (the axis mundi), which he finds to be almost universal throughout mankind’s various religious and mythological systems. For example, in the Judaic tradition, a certain stone within the Temple Mount in Jerusalem was viewed as the “even ha-shetiyah” (“foundation stone”), the first piece of matter God crafted out of the chaos of the primordial abyss.

The way the rabbis saw it, the rest of the universe was created outward from this point, using the stone as both the blueprint pattern and the material base. Even though, topographically (and profanely), the summit of this mountain (Mt. Moriah) is clearly not the highest peak even in the immediate region (something which would have been readily observable to anyone), from a sacred perspective, this was the highest mountain in the world. As Eliade writes in Cosmos and History, in regards to the archetype of the cosmic mountain:

Ascending it, the pilgrim approaches the center of the world, and, on the highest terrace, breaks from one plane into another, transcending profane, heterogeneous space and entering a ‘pure’ region.’ … sacred places are assimilated to the summits of cosmic mountains. This is why Jerusalem and Zion were not submerged by the Deluge.

Perhaps because it was the first point to emerge from the Abyss (what ancient cultures viewed as the “primeval ocean” of pre-formal chaos), religious man viewed the sacred mountain as still containing or resting upon a subterranean entrance to this Abyss that could be accessed through its caverns and tunnels. In the case of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, it was said to be built over the “mouth of the tehom,” the latter term being the Hebrew word for the Abyss. The Deluge, then, might be viewed as this primeval ocean overtaking creation, except for the summit of the cosmic mountain, where God guided his chosen pilot for the Ark of refuge. This sacred space remained even as the rest of the world was washed away into nothingness.

Eliade’s concept of sacred time is intrinsically connected to his idea of sacred space as an intersection between the mundane world, the divine world, and the waters of chaos. For while “profane time” might be measured by any yardstick and defined simply as “duration,” to him “sacred time” was really a measurement of divine cosmic events; in particular, the birth and then eventual death of the universe. According to Eliade, religious man saw time as a recurring cycle of the world’s creation and destruction by the gods. The cyclical change of the seasons throughout the year was seen as an embodiment of the same pattern, and thus had to be ritually observed as such through festivals.

At the end of the year, the way our ancestors saw it, creation was seen as plunging into chaos, being reabsorbed back into the Abyss. Eliade writes in The Sacred and the Profane that:

In a number of North American Indian languages the term world ( = Cosmos) is also used in the sense of the year. The Yokuts say ‘the world has passed,’ meaning ‘a year has gone’ by.’ … The cosmos is seen as a living entity that is born, develops, and dies on the last day of the year, to be reborn on New Year’s Day. …Because at every New Year, time begins ab initio.

This was seen as desirable, a way of casting off the accumulated baggage of the past year and reinvigorating life with the primal power of a newly born world. Eliade writes:

By every means at his disposal, [religious man] seeks to reside at the very source of primordial reality, when the world was in statu nascendi.

Eliade says that this is why end-of-year festivals in the ancient world tended to include ritual elements that embodied this concept of chaos, when the normal social order was overturned, cultural taboos transgressed, and observance of profane time temporarily abolished. This is why the Romans observed the Saturnalia festival at the end of the year by temporarily freeing slaves, halting all non-essential work, and encouraging things like public orgies, prostitution, and gambling. The profane government would be temporarily — ritually — abolished, and a “Lord of Unrule” elected to ceremonially reign in its stead. This is also why ancient cultures such as the Egyptians had sacred calendars of 360 days wherein the additional 5 days of the solar year were seen as outside of the “perfect circle” of the sacred time cycle. Thus the last five days of the profane year were observed as “non-days” outside of time, with ceremonial practices similar to those of Saturnalia, including time off from work and drunken orgies.

Even in the modern West, we see vestiges of this with the traditional cerebration of New Year’s Eve, wherein drinking and carousing are not only acceptable but encouraged (unlike the rest of the year, when this is frowned upon). Also the days between Christmas and New Year’s Day are often observed as “non-days” free from work by students and, for all intents and purposes, many public and corporate office workers (who are frequently excused for their lack of productivity during “the holidays”).

Furthermore, just as religious man saw the New Year as a fresh rebirth from the primeval ocean, we represent the first of the year as a newborn baby, and sing “Should auld acquaintance be forgot,” laying the previous year’s creation to rest. As we plunge into the oblivion of drunkenness, we descend once again into chaos, and many people awake the next morning with “missing time” in their hazy memory. The outgoing year is frequently depicted as an old man with a scythe, an obvious hearkening back to the figure of Saturn, from the Roman Saturnalia celebrations. To the Romans, Saturn had once been the king of the “Golden Age” at the beginning of creation, wherein there was no such thing as written law. Thus he was represented at Saturnalia with the Lord of Unrule, donning a red “liberty cap” similar to Santa’s hat.

Eliade says that religious man saw these cosmic acts of creation and destruction as taking place beyond measurable time, and thus they are always happening in any moment that one tunes to the sacred. (Indeed, how can one say that anything took place in a linear fashion “before” the creation of time itself.) Sacred places are tapped into this sacred time, and all sacred myths really depict events taking place in sacred time. This is what Eliade refers to with the Latin term in illo tempore, a translation of the phrase “once upon a time” from our familiar fairy tales as told in children’s storybooks. Perhaps the reason why these stories all begin in this manner is that it really is impossible to say when the story took place in profane time, since they are really all based on sacred myths that took place in sacred time. In one way or another, they all symbolically retell the story of the world’s birth and death, no matter how light-hearted and fanciful they may seem.

In fairy tales, medieval romances, and many ancient myths, the hero is frequently sent to slay a “dragon” or “serpent” that is endangering the kingdom. Dragons and serpents, according to Eliade, always represent the primordial chaos, To the Hebrews the ocean itself was identified with the dragon Leviathan with the “tehom” or Abyss. Thus the image of St. George or Michael the Archangel slaying the dragon represents the conquering and then utilization of this primeval power. This is why so many creation myths, such as the Babylonian story of Marduk and dragon Tiamat, involve the hero slaying the monster and then forming the universe out of its flesh and blood.

Everything old is new again

The subduing of the serpent power of chaos is seen as part of the act of divine creation. But it is this same chaos that always threatens to retake its supremacy and swallow creation (thus, like the Ouroboros swallowing its own tail, its own flesh). Perhaps this is what was alluded to in the story of Adam and Eve’s expulsion from the Garden of Eden, when God foretold that their descendants would crush the head of the serpent with their feet, but that it would nonetheless bruise their heels.

This image of creation being swallowed by the Dragon is a symbol of apocalyptic death, but it is also a vehicle of passage, from the current age to that which is in statu nascendi, and perhaps, from the present mode of existence to a higher one. Both Mircea Eliade and Joseph Campbell have made note of the huge number of myths from throughout the world that involve a hero, like Jonah, being swallowed by a large animal and emerging several days later, having undergone a transformation while inside. Moreover, the way both Eliade and Campbell saw it, the world outside transforms as well, and the hero is literally reborn into a new cosmos. Campbell sees this as the mode of transportation in the Hero’s Journey from our world to the metaphysical Otherworld. Eliade saw it, similarly, as a symbol of initiation into a higher sphere of existence. He made note of numerous primitive puberty rituals and secret society initiations that involve the symbolic death and rebirth of the candidate, particularly those in which he is metaphorically eaten by a monster.

As Eliade points out, temples in ancient times usually included an opening at the top or other symbolic “gateway to Heaven” that connected it to the realm of the gods, permitting the soul’s escapes to the transcendent reality beyond. As he writes:

… All forms of cosmos – universe, temple, house, human body – have an ‘opening’ above. … the opening makes possible passage from one mode of being to another, from one existential situation to another. … it may be said that human existence attains completion through a series of ‘passage rites,’ in short, by successive initiations.

This brings to mind the term “End of the World” and the realization that this could be a description of both a time and a place, the location being the portal that leads to the Otherworld. In John’s Revelation, Heaven is seen as coming to Earth, specifically in the form of a cube – sacred space. It also beings to mind the fact that the Christian concept of the “Rapture” involves the very ancient concept of sacred “rape.” Both words are etymologically related and imply being “taken away” by insurmountable force, like when Zeus raped Europa.

To me this just means that you are along for the ride back through chaos and beyond to the Otherworld whether you like it or not. In legends, the hero is often given an object, what alchemists often called the “Magnet of the Wise” or “Compass of the Wise,” that would lead him on his journey to the Otherworld. Like a magic lodestone, it was magnetically attracted to the cosmic center, and could guide the hero’s ship effortlessly through the mystic doorway.

So perhaps we are all strapped into a cosmic ship, journeying through the ages on our way to oblivion. What, then, are we to make of the symbolism of the widely-popular belief that December 23, 2012 will be “the end of the world,” or the start of a new paradigm of some sort? Many ancient societies saw the world as cycling through much longer cycles of decay, death, and rebirth in addition to the yearly cycle. The Greeks, Romans and Indians all had traditions pertaining to a mega-cycle of the ages of man, in which mankind passed through every-increasing stages of degeneracy.

The cycle begins with a Golden Age in which man is essentially at one with the gods. At the end of each age, there is an apocalyptic even that destroys the present race of mankind and initiates the birth of a new, less evolved race. Each of these ages is likened to a metal, in ever-lessening nobility. The present age is the “Iron Age,” or what the Indians called the “Kali Yuga.” Ours is a violent race, and this short-lived era is marked by chaos. It ends in mass destruction, followed by the rebirth of a new Golden Age.

According to many New Agers, the end of the Mayan calendar will mark the beginning of a dimensional shift that will affect the entire planet, allowing us access to formerly hidden dimensions. I have even heard it said that a “portal” or dimensional doorway will open up and take us all in. Some think that our perception and reckoning of time will shift as well.

Surrender to The Void

Perhaps indeed we will be swallowed up into sacred time. But while the soothsayers are busy trying to prognosticate, as they always do before the beginning of a new cycle, a better move might be to try to map out the kind of world we wish to be reborn into. It could be that the best thing about plunging everything into chaos is that, like the alchemists with their prima materia, will enable us to turn that which is not valued into the purest gold. According to Eliade, ancient man’s conception of sacred time was one that involved the possibility of retro-causality. In other worlds, the past can literally be unmade and remade. They really, truly believed that time was starting over again with each new cycle, and that the past did not exist. As he wrote in The Sacred and the Profane:

By its very nature sacred time is reversible…

Also, in Cosmos and History:

… Every construction is an absolute beginning; that it, it tends to restore the initial instant, the plenitude of a present that contains no trace of history.

This is interesting, because while men throughout history have always performed divination rituals at the start of a new year or era, they have also performed rites to try to influence the outcome themselves. For instance, the Babylonians performed a ritual called the “fixing of the fates” for this very purpose. These days we attempt to influence the coming year with “resolutions,” but these are just personal goals regarding our personal behavior. What if our resolution was to live in a new world?

Is it possible to make this happen? Perhaps. But it would involve a total surrender to the forces of renewal. We would have to stop accepting the past as the determinant of the future. We are not doomed to recreate it, if we can learn to let go of the chains of our own brutal history. This is what keeps us from moving on, but it is also what’s killing us, and thus forcing the issue. When the world is reduced to its essence, only then can we reform it according to the object of our desires. As Eliade writes:

Any form, whatever, by the mere fact that it exists as such and endures, be necessarily loses vigor; it must be reabsorbed into the formless, if only for an instant; it must be restored to the primordial unity from which it issued; in other words, it must return to chaos.

I was on The Stench of Truth again this week with Ted Torbich talking about a variety of mythical and metaphysical concepts.

For eons, mankind has known of the existence of portals: dimensional doorways between our world and other realms. Sometimes these portals also form pathways between distant points in space within our own world, or even between different points in time. Also called vortices or gateways, portals are oftentimes closed except for certain people, or at certain times. In some cases physical bodies and objects are able to pass through and come out the other side. Sometimes people and objects become lost in the void beyond. At other times, the existence of the portal is felt in more subtle ways, as it only allows energies, rather than physical matter, to pass through the vortex. In some cases, only ghosts, fairies, light orbs, or UFOs seem to be able to pass through physically.

With PortalQuest, a new venture I’ve initiated, we do in-depth research and go on exciting adventures in search of these portals. I became interested in portals in 2002, when a spirit on a ouija board predicted that I would some day discover an entrance to the legendary underground kingdom of Agartha. Now, for PortalQuest, I and my friends will pursue both scientific and subjective evidence of the existence of portals, and the hidden kingdoms they lead to. Ultimately, we seek to be the first modern “portalnauts” to pass through a portal physically and successfully document the journey. There are three main types of portals: natural, magical, and artificial, which I shall explain below.

These are portals that exist naturally at sacred sites all over the world. They are believed to be the intersection-point of energy lines generated by the hidden forces of the Earth. At these places, the “veil between the worlds” is thought to be thinner, allowing for inter-dimensional penetration. These portals are often located within caverns or tunnels, in groves, or underneath the roots of large trees. In folklore and myth, lakes and wells frequently serve as portals, or can transform into them at certain times. Sometimes portals are rumored to be in the middle of some expansive, remote location, like in a large forest, desert, or ocean, such as in the Bermuda Triangle.

These are doorways that have been deliberately created or opened by shamans, priests and magicians through prayer and ritual. Thus many of the megalithic temple sites sacred mounds of the ancient world were believed to be portals. They were variously thought to have either been built on top of natural openings, or created entirely through magical rituals. The Celts of what is now Britain and France use to build “portal tombs,” a.k.a. “cromlechs” or “dolmens,” which included doorways to allow departed spirits to travel to the land of the dead. The Egyptians sometimes included such portals in their funerary pyramids.

Many “portals to Hell” can be found throughout Europe and North America, rumored to have been opened by witches during rituals. Often the locations of these portals are haunted by severe demonic and ghostly activity. In folklore, any mirror could be turned into a “magic mirror” through witchcraft, and be used as a portal to the underworld. Chimneys were also thought to be a way of entering and exiting the fairy realm. Modern-day shamans and witches still claim to be able to create portals, or to detect and open existing ones.

“Stargates” are portals that are said to lead to alternate dimensions, distant time periods, or faraway planets. The so-called “Gulf of Aden stargate,” rumored to exist off the coast of Yemen, is supposedly one such portal. It is believed to have been created by an alien civilization monitoring our own. Artificial-looking light phenomena have in recent years been observed in the sky all over the world forming spirals with so-called “wormholes” in the center. In some cases, UFOs have been seen passing through these sky portals.

This activity has been attributed variously to alien visitations, or to secret government experiments with Earth’s atmosphere and magnetosphere. The town of Hessdalen in Norway has been the site of strange lights in the sky regularly for over two decades now, and is believed by the local residents to be the location of a UFO portal. Flying craft have also been seen in other locations coming out of portals in the ocean, and up from the ground.

Hidden kingdoms are bubbles in space-time which can reportedly be accessed through invisible portals. Some of these are said to exist underground, or within mountains, although they cannot normally be seen by the naked eye. For instance, the mythical underground kingdoms of Shamballah and Agartha can supposedly be accessed by portals. Hidden kingdoms are also said to exist within jungles, under the ocean, or on magical islands that are invisible until you pass through a portal. Often, people who go to these lands experience an altered sense of the passage of time, or none at all.

Behold the Portal

Eyewitness accounts of modern day portals, as well as older examples from folklore and ancient myth, confirm that they are associated with several types of paranormal phenomenon. Ghost, fairies, angels, demons, UFOs, and even Sasquatches have been seen coming through portals. Known portal locations are also frequently haunted by one or more of the above entities. Often the location is marked by the apparition of a strange mist, cloud, or fog. Of course, by definition, portals exist wherever so-called “apports” occur (usually associated with poltergeists), in which objects appear from out of nowhere or disappear into nothing. The phenomenon most commonly associated with portals is the manifestation of floating orbs of light.

In addition, it is rumored that sometimes both magical and technological processes are used simultaneously to artificially create or open portals. Famous astrophysicist Jack Parsons purportedly used a conjunction of rocket science and black magic to open a portal for demons to enter the world. A similar combination of magic and science may have been used by the beings known as the “Annunaki,” who allegedly created stargates in ancient Mesopotamia, where they were worshiped as gods.

Portals are Everywhere

Pre-Quest Research: Locations of known portals are identified, and the background investigated. Local experts, preferably eyewitnesses of portal phenomena, are contacted and interviewed. If possible, a local guide to the location is drafted for the adventure.

The Quest: This is the process of traveling to, in, and around the chosen portal site. This may involve attempting to identify the exact location of the portal, through both psychic and scientific means. It will also include attempting to open the portal, or to verify that it is already open. It may even involve the deliberate summoning, through spiritual action, of the phenomena associated with that particular portal, whether it be ghosts, demons, magical beings, UFOs, mysterious lights, etc.

a) Portal Detection Devices: On each quest, a variety of scientific equipment will be used to detect the presence of an inter-dimensional aperture: an EMF (electromagnetic frequency) detector, a thermometer, a barometer, an air ion counter, a video camera with night vision, a heat-sensing FLIR camera, a motion detector, an infrared thermal scanner, and omni-directional microphones. Any anomalous atmospheric changes, apparitions, or or EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) will be recorded for later analysis.

b) Portal Enhancement Devices: EM (electromagnetic) pumps can be used to flood the area with electromagnetic energy, making if easier for the portal to open. It also makes it easier for any entities coming through the portal, such as ghosts, fairies, or light orbs, to manifest themselves, since they need an energy base to draw from.

c) Spiritual Guidance: For every adventure, a spirit guide will join the quest. This person will in each case be an experienced, respected psychic, shaman or priest. He or she will use intuitive powers, as well as oracular devices like dowsing rods, ouija boards, runes, tarot, etc, to identify the location of the portal. The spirit guide may also attempt to open the portal through prayer or ritual. While there, he or she will speak to the spirit guardians of the portal to try to evoke EVP messages and visible manifestations.

Post-Quest Analysis: This involves studying the evidence gathered, including the video and audio recordings, to make an objective determination about whether or not a true portal encounter has taken place. Sightings caught on camera will be examined to see if they are tricks of light or genuine phenomena. Audio will be listened to carefully for EVP messages. Meter readings will be collected and compared to normal readings from other locations to decide whether or not any genuine anomalies have been sighted.

(1) the famous “UFO portal” at Hessdalen, Norway; (2) the “gateway to Hell” at Houska Castle near Prague in the Czech Republic; (3) the “portal to Hell” at Bobby Mackey’s Music World in Wilder, Kentucky; (4) Boynton Canyon, one of several so-called “vortex” sites in Sedona, Arizona; (5) Mount Shasta, California, alleged location of a portal to the “hollow Earth”; (6) Glastonbury Tor in England, supposed portal to the hidden island of Avalon; (7) the so-called “fairy mounds” of Newgrange, Ireland, doorways to the mythical land of Elphame; (8) the ancient haunted “fairy chimneys” of Cappadocia, Turkey; (9) Mount Kailish, Tibet, supposed location of “Heaven’s Gate”; (10) the Externsteine rock formation in Germany, where two pillars mark a doorway to the “Otherworld” (11) the blue holes of Bermuda, rumored gateways for inter-portal sea monsters; (12) Tzibichen Cenote, Mexico, believed by the ancient Mayans to be a portal to the underworld; and (13) the “Puerta de Hayu Marca” in southern Peru, alleged to be an ancient stargate.

I just got back from being interviewed by Jesse Ventura for his Conspiracy Theory show. The topic of the interview is still a guarded secret. It took place right before his recent press conference about the TSA lawsuit, and then I had lunch with him right after. It was an interesting, fun time!
